Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krösche has reportedly caught the attention of AC Milan. According to the sports newspaper «Gazzetta dello Sport», Krösche is one of the candidates for one of the vacant positions at the club. The 45-year-old Krösche has a contract with Eintracht until 2028 and has made very good transfer decisions during his time in Frankfurt. Other candidates for the position are Ramon Planes and Devin Ozek. Krösche did not want to comment on the rumors at first. Oliver Glasner, who was Eintracht's coach from 2021 to 2025, could become Allegris successor on the coaching bench. Glasner had led Crystal Palace to their first European title in the past season. But an agreement with the Milanese has not been reached yet. So it remains to be seen whether Krösche or Glasner will switch to AC Milan. Krösche has been sporting director at Eintracht for five years and has developed into a top German manager. The decision on his move to AC Milan will be made in the next few days. The Italian top club is looking for a new sports director after the managing director, sports director, and technical director of the Milanese had to leave.
