A disastrous Debakel

Eintracht Frankfurt suffers a disastrous 0:7-Debakel against FC Brentford. The Hessian Bundesliga team underlay FC Brentford with 0:7 (0:3). The goals for the ninth team of the last Premier League season were scored by Kevin Schade (2nd minute/70th minute), Igor Thiago (41st/68th minute), Mamadou Sangaré (12th minute), Dango Ouattara (52nd minute) and Keane Lewis-Porter (57th minute).

A weak first half

In a very weak first half, Frankfurt showed great weaknesses in its defensive behavior - like last season - again. National player Schade scored already with the first attack. At the second goal, goalkeeper Kaua Santos made a faux pas, as he let the ball slip through his fingers.

Robin Koch must leave the pitch injured

Captain Robin Koch, who later left the pitch injured, was under pressure from Schade before the third goal in his own penalty area and lost the ball. How seriously Koch is injured, is still unclear.

Frankfurt hopeless

After the break, the team of Adi Hütter completely fell apart. The Hessen were defenseless and conceded two double blows in quick succession. Further high-class opportunities were missed by the home team.

Not much time left before the season starts

Frankfurt left the Englishmen too many spaces. They could act and dominate as they pleased. Own chances were scarce. The Eintracht disappointed on all lines and must still complete some homework before the season starts at the upcoming weekend in the DFB-Pokal against SC St. Tönis.

The Eintracht Frankfurt currently occupies the 8th place in the Bundesliga table (34 games, 11 wins, 11 draws, 12 losses, 44 points, -4 goal difference). In the last game, on May 16, 2026, Eintracht Frankfurt lost 2:2 to VfB Stuttgart. The current form curve of Eintracht Frankfurt shows 0 wins, 2 draws and 0 losses in the last 2 games. The next game of Eintracht Frankfurt is on October 24, 2026 against Borussia Dortmund.
