Eintracht Frankfurt hosted this year's EFC Championship on Saturday, June 13, at the maxworx Sportpark in Dreieich. A total of 21 teams participated in the tournament, including a team from the club's office and one from the fan department. The competition kicked off at 10 AM, with matches played simultaneously on three fields. Each team had the opportunity to play six matches in the group stage before the best teams advanced to the semifinals. In the final, EFC Adlerhorst Waldhessen faced EFC Merenberg, while EFC 77er secured third place against EFC United Eagles of Griesheim. The thrilling final ended with a 3-0 victory for EFC Adlerhorst Waldhessen. The event was accompanied by excellent weather, music, and a diverse culinary offering. Many spectators were present to support the teams, contributing to a fantastic atmosphere. The awards ceremony capped off the day, with the top teams receiving trophies and other prizes. EFC Adlerhorst Waldhessen received a trophy shaped like a Bembel and 50 liters of apple wine. Eintracht Frankfurt's fan department expressed enthusiasm for the positive response and is already looking forward to next year's EFC Championship. It was a thoroughly successful day for all involved and a testament to the strong community of Eintracht fans.
