How Teammates Became Friends

Meier and Chandler have known each other for many years and have shared unforgettable moments at Eintracht Frankfurt. "It was never a question of whether we would become friends, it just happened," says Chandler. Meier adds: "We always got along well, both on and off the field."

Why Chandler Calls Meier "Mein Meier"

A special quirk in their friendship is that Chandler calls his friend Meier simply "mein Meier." "It's a kind of nickname that just developed," explains Chandler. "It shows how close we are."

The Future After the Career

While Meier is already working as a co-trainer, Chandler is still on the field. But he also has plans for after his career. "I would like to join the coaching staff, maybe even at Eintracht Frankfurt," reveals Chandler. Meier supports him: "Timothy has what it takes to become a great coach."

Both agree that Eintracht Frankfurt is something special. "The fans, the atmosphere, the city – everything together makes it unique," says Meier. Chandler adds: "It's more than just a club, it's a family."
