Eintracht Frankfurt is on the verge of securing another SGE transfer with the signing of talented midfielder Raphael Onyedika. According to SPORT1 reports, Eintracht has been in talks with several Saudi Arabian clubs, including Al-Hilal, which offered him a lucrative deal.

However, Onyedika ultimately chose Eintracht Frankfurt. The prospect of playing for a club in Europe's top 5 leagues was particularly important to the Nigerian international. Sky even reports about unnamed Saudi Arabian clubs making another attempt at signing the player but failed.

Onyedika comes from Belgian side Club Brügge and will join Eintracht Frankfurt for around 10 million euros. SPORT1 confirms that a medical check is already prepared, and the deal should be finalized soon.

On Friday, Onyedika was not in the lineup as Brügge played in the Belgian Super Cup final. The transfer of defender Otávio to Eintracht Frankfurt was officially announced only on Tuesday.

The signing of Onyedika would significantly strengthen the team and bring another top player into a squad that has already successfully signed Otávio.
